Pioneer prepared a Housing Market Report on behalf of Evenbrook Group Limited assessing the likely housing requirements of the Private Rented Sector in Browns Green, Handsworth Wood, Birmingham.

The Housing Market Report demonstrated how the proposals to provide 155 new homes on a 'Build to Let' basis would assist households too well off to access affordable housing, but also unable to afford to purchase on the open market, and with (financially) limited access to the wider private rented market.

Through the report Pioneer helped facilitate negotiations with the City Council who have supported a reduced proportion of on-site affordable housing provision and a mechanism which ensures the affordable housing will be provided at a 20% discount to market rent for a period of 21 years, remaining available for open market rent thereafter.
